Hiroshi Tomiyasu is Executive Vice President of the holding company, NTT DATA Group Corporation as well asthe Japan operating company, NTT DATA Japan Corporation. He is responsible for strengthening consultingcapabilities built on foresight pertaining to industries and technologies, formulating R&D strategy, developingnew technological offerings, and applying its IT assets to support the company and clients globally.Before his current position, Mr. Tomiyasu served as Head of Technology and Innovation General Headquartersof NTT DATA Corporation.His experience and expertise in software engineering and development of platform technologies to optimizesystem development extends over 30 years, through which he led teams to deliver high-value outcomes andhelp clients transform their businesses.In addition, as a leader in Japan's IT services industry, he was elected as Vice Chairman of Japan InformationService Industry Association (JISA) in 2023.He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Tsukuba and started his career in 1990 at NTT DATACorporation. In his early days, he was engaged in research and development in image analytics.
