TAIPEI, TAIWAN - September 1, 2026: The World Innovation, Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) celebrated global champions of the first WITSA Global AI Awards, honoring thirty organizations across ten countries and economies for advances in artificial intelligence spanning AI infrastructure, talent, entrepreneurship, use-cases, data, public policy and investments. The WITSA Global AI Awards 2026 was held in conjunction with the WITSA Global AI Summit, held in Taipei on September 1- 2, 2026.
The WITSA Global AI Awards 2026 is the inaugural edition of WITSA's latest catalytic recognition program, dedicated exclusively to artificial intelligence, setting a new international benchmark for AI that is responsible, impactful, and scalable, rather than simply technically impressive.
The awards were decided through a two-tier process. WITSA's participating member associations ran national selections and nominated up to one candidate per category to WITSA. A WITSA Global Judging Panel then evaluated every national nominee against the established four key criteria, Real-World Impact and Potential, Scalability, Innovative Features and Functionalities and Proven Solution, to determine the winners in each category.
